kinetiQ Underwriting was founded in 2021 with a clear ambition: to build a specialist MGA designed for today’s insurance market.
From day one, we’ve invested in technology, data and automation to remove friction from the underwriting process whilst ensuring every decision is supported by experienced people who understand specialist risks.
Starting in specialist motor insurance, we’ve continued to expand our portfolio, developing commercial products alongside innovative connected insurance solutions such as kinetiQ.Drive.

Successfully launched specialist Taxi and Courier insurance propositions through selected broker partners.
kinetiQ secured long term A-rated capacity with Accelerant, providing the foundation for growth and product expansion. During the year, we launched our Courier Car, Van and Combined Public & Employers Liability products, marking the start of our evolution into a broader specialist commercial MGA.
